AD: "Art of the State" cover

After leaving Kansas, Dave Hope & Kerry Livgren formed the band AD (Anno Domini) in the 80's. The band produced 3 full fledged studio albums and a 4th with just Kerry Livgren and Warren Ham. "Art of the State" was their second album. This cover was for the re-release on CD. I always admired the logo designed by underground comix artist, Rick Griffin, which adorned each of their albums.
